Maria L. Grassi

Maria L. Grassi is has been the administrator of Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C. since 1998. She joined the firm following her 12 year tenure as administrator of a large regional accounting firm, where her career began as a part-time bookkeeper and payroll manager.

Areas of Specialization:
In a role requiring the juggling many responsibilities and wearing many hats, Maria has overall responsibility for the firm’s fiscal management. She leads an administrative team, working closely with partners and managers on all firm activities, as well as scheduling appointments and projects, managing the office and insuring adherence to all firm policies and maintaining compliance with applicable governmental regulations. Her participation in management meetings has a direct impact on the direction the firm takes in its day-to-day operations.

Professional Achievements:
Maria is an active member of the Administrative Association Group, a professional organization whose members are firm administrators throughout the New York Metropolitan area. The group’s focus is on administration best practices, human resource issues and project management in accounting firms. Maria is a member of the Garden City Chamber of Commerce and serves as the chairperson of its Pineapple Ball Committee “super raffle” sub-committee. She also leads the firm’s philanthropic initiatives with Toys for Tots and JDRF/Walk to Cure Diabetes
