Maria L. Grassi
Maria began her career at a small accounting firm as a part time bookkeeper and payroll manager. As the firm grew to become one of the largest accounting firms on Long Island, so did her responsibilities, which led her to a position as a full time firm administrator. After a twelve-year career there, she joined Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C.
She has been with Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C. for the past ten years managing an office with a team of 20 plus professionals.
Along with her administrative team, her daily focus is on carrying out administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and projects for each team member, managing the office and monitoring the firm's budget and finances, as well as insuring adherence to all firm policies and maintaining compliance with applicable governmental regulations.
She is an active member of the Administrative Association Group, which is comprised of firm administrators throughout the New York Metropolitan area who meet monthly to discuss accounting firm administration best practices, human resource issues, and project management.
