Robert D. Rothbort is a partner at Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C. He brings twenty years of extensive professional experience in both public and private accounting to the firm. He is a seasoned professional with an impressive amount of expertise in a variety of different fields including construction, real estate, and employee benefit plans.
As a business advisor specializing in strategic tax planning, Mr. Rothbort's main objective is to maximize his clients’ wealth. He also consults with clients to help adapt their business to the changing economic conditions.
Mr. Rothbort is a frequent contributor to publications such as Newsday and The Trusted Professional, published by the New York State Society of CPAs (NYSSCPA). He is also a frequent lecturer on the topics of accounting and auditing for construction contractors, and strategic tax planning and tax strategies for family owned and closely held companies.
Mr. Rothbort serves on the board of the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and has earned the prestigious Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation. He received his Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Accounting from Hofstra University.
