Salvatore J. Armao

Salvatore J. Armao is a partner of Armao, Costa & Ricciardi, CPAs, P.C. For over twenty years, he has been actively involved in providing professional services such as general accounting, tax planning, consulting, and financial statement preparation services to Construction Contractors, Labor Unions and Employee Benefit Plans.
As a certified financial planner, Mr. Armao counsels business owners on matters including asset protection, business succession planning, estate tax minimization, pension design, and executive benefits. Mr. Armao conducts seminars for bankers, attorneys and business owners in the areas of asset protection and tax planning as well as key employee recruitment and retention strategies.
Mr. Armao is an author and lecturer on the topics of accounting and auditing for Construction Contractors, Labor Unions and Employee Benefit Plans.
He has also conducted training seminars for the Nassau Chapter of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the Foundation for Accounting Education (FAE).
Mr. Armao is a former Adjunct Professor of Auditing at The State University at Old Westbury (SUNY) and at The City College of New York (CUNY).
Mr. Armao received his Bachelor of Science from Brooklyn College (CUNY), and earned his license as a Certified Financial Planner from Adelphi University. He has also earned the prestigious Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation.
